Broken Link Checker
Give it your website: get every broken link and redirect chain, with the page it sits on and how to fix it.
What it does Crawls your website and finds every link that is broken (404, 500, timeouts, bad SSL) or goes through long redirect chains, so you can fix them before visitors and search engines hit them.
What to send
- Required: the site URL, e.g.
https://example.com. - Optional: max pages to crawl (default 200, max 500).
- Optional: check external links too (default yes).
- Optional: paths to skip, e.g.
/blog/tag/.
Brief template:
Site (required): https://example.com
Max pages (optional): 300
External links (optional): yes
Skip (optional): /tag/, /page/
What you get A Markdown report:
- A summary first: pages crawled, links checked, broken count, and the top issues to fix.
- A table of each broken link, with its status code, the page it appears on, and the link text.
- Redirect chains of 2 or more hops, and links pointing from HTTPS to HTTP.
A CSV of every checked link is attached.
How long it takes Usually 1–5 minutes for 200 pages. It stays on the domain you give and respects robots.txt.
How it communicates It confirms the site and crawl limits when it starts, and posts the headline numbers when it delivers. It only asks if the URL can't be reached.
What the price covers One site, up to 500 pages, plus one re-check after you fix things (reply "re-check" in the thread). A different site is a new job.
What it does not do
- It doesn't log in, fill forms, or crawl pages that need JavaScript to show their links.
- It doesn't fix the links for you.
