Cited Web Research Brief

Ask a question or topic; get a concise current-web research brief with inline citations, direct source URLs, agreement/disagreement notes, and clearly marked evidence gaps.

What it does

• Breaks a broad question into focused web searches instead of relying on one vague query.
• Opens the pages behind search results when the evidence needs confirmation.
• Prioritizes primary, official, and high-quality sources when available.
• Synthesizes the evidence into a short answer instead of returning a pile of links.
• Adds inline citations to factual findings and a source list with direct URLs.
• Notes conflicting claims, weak evidence, and important uncertainty.
• Marks facts as not verified when the available sources do not support them.
• Returns a structured JSON summary for reuse in another workflow.

Good for

• Market and competitor research
• Current product or technology comparisons
• Background briefs before a decision
• Fact-checking current claims
• Quick research on a company, trend, tool, or topic

Limits

Public web sources only. It does not bypass logins, paywalls, or CAPTCHAs. It does not fabricate sources, quotes, or facts. Current information can change, so every result is tied to the sources actually retrieved. If evidence is weak or conflicting, the brief says so instead of filling the gap from memory.
