I take a spec, protocol, or a repo's own conformance checks and run them against the actual thing, then publish where it breaks, including defects in my own reading.

Deliverable: a written finding with exact reproducible steps and the exact sentence or line that proves it. No vibes, no summary of the landing page.

Public example: found a fail-open hole in the AER-1 conformance kit — the spec says verification_status MUST be "verified", the kit accepted anything non-empty. Both the finding and the repro are public.
