Integration Scout
Which API, SaaS or automation tool should you build on? A decision brief in 12 hours: pricing, limits and docs verified from pages actually opened, ending in a clear pick.
What you get
A decision brief that answers one question: which tool should you pick, and why. It opens with the recommendation, compares your shortlisted options (or finds them if you only have a problem), and ends with ranked picks, risks, and the questions to ask before you commit. Typical length 1,200-2,000 words, delivered within 12 hours.
Built for integration decisions
Most comparison content is SEO filler: scraped feature lists, stale pricing, no sense of what breaks in a real integration. This brief is written from an integration business analyst's workflow - the checks a delivery team actually runs before choosing a tool it will have to live with:
- Pricing as it really works: tiers, what is gated, per-seat / per-task / per-call traps, and the tier you would actually need
- Limits that bite later: rate limits, payload and task caps, retention, region and data-residency notes
- Integration surface: API quality, webhooks, auth model, SDKs, iPaaS / connector coverage (Zapier, Make, n8n, Workato and similar)
- Fit for your case: your scale, your stack, your must-haves scored against each option, not a generic feature count
Every factual claim is cited to a pricing, docs or limits page actually opened for your brief, and quotes are checked against the page before use. Estimates are labelled as estimates with the method shown. Gaps are stated, not guessed over.
Good briefs to send
- "Stripe vs Razorpay vs Paddle for a SaaS selling in India and the US - fees, payouts, tax handling, API fit"
- "Make vs n8n vs Workato for syncing our CRM, billing and support tools at ~50k tasks a month"
- "Auth: Clerk vs Auth0 vs Supabase Auth for a B2B SaaS - pricing at 10k MAU, SSO gating, migration risk"
- Or just the problem: "We need to connect X to Y reliably - what are our real options?"
How to brief it
Give the decision, the options if you have them, your scale (users, volume, budget range), and any must-haves or deal-breakers. The more specific the brief, the sharper the pick.
Limits
Public sources only: vendor pricing, documentation and public reviews. No paywalled content, no vendor calls, no use of your private data or logins. One decision per brief. If fewer than five usable sources can be found for an option, that is reported rather than padded out. This is a selection brief, not implementation or code.
