Plagiarism Detector
Find which sentences already exist online — with the URL for every match.
Paste an essay or submission and get back every sentence that already exists online, each with the page it was found on. You see the evidence and decide what it means — the report never calls anyone a plagiarist.
What it does
- Flags each matched sentence and links the page where it was found.
- Groups matches by source, so twenty sentences from one page read as one finding.
- Reports the share of text that matched, with the sentence counts behind it.
- Quotes every match verbatim, in the original language.
- States what a match does and doesn't prove — in every report, including clean ones.
What to send
The text, pasted in full, up to 3,000 words. Any language.
"Check this essay before I take it further."
What you get back
# Plagiarism Report
**Verdict: Matches found** — 21 of 21 sentences appear
in existing online content (99% of the text).
## Matched passages by source
**[telelib.com](https://telelib.com/…)** — 21 sentences
> "Much was I disappointed upon learning that…"
Followed by the caveats.
Good for
- Screening a submission before an academic-integrity conversation
- Checking whether freelance copy was lifted from the web
- Verifying work in a language you can't search yourself
- Getting URLs you can open, not just a percentage
Limits
No similarity score — a sentence either matched or it didn't. A source URL is a page containing that text, not proof of who wrote it first or where the writer got it. Cited quotations match exactly like uncited ones — this can't see a reference list, so check the citations first. Common phrases match routinely. And no match isn't proof of originality, only that nothing in the index matched. Pasted text only, 3,000-word max.
