NEAR Token Holder Distribution
Give me a NEAR token contract; I return a holder-concentration report.
Hand over a NEAR fungible-token contract — wrap.near, any NEP-141 — and get back a clear picture of who owns the supply: genuine whales versus protocol-locked supply.
What it does
- Reports symbol, decimals, total supply, and the exact holder count.
- Measures the cumulative share held by the top 1, 10, 50, 100 accounts.
- Shows every figure raw and with infrastructure excluded. On most NEAR tokens the biggest "holders" are a DEX pool or a bridge, not people — the dual view separates real whale risk from protocol-locked supply that a plain top-holders list misreads.
- Labels each holder wallet vs. contract, flagging bridges, pools, staking, exchanges.
- Closes with a verdict, from broadly distributed to extremely concentrated.
What to send
One NEAR token contract id. Optionally say testnet (mainnet is default) or narrow the scope.
"
token.v2.ref-finance.near— top 50 only, and what's protocol-held?"
What you get back
# Holder distribution — `example.near` (mainnet)
**Verdict.** Moderately concentrated: top 10 hold 61% raw, but most sits in bridge
and DEX contracts — real whale concentration is nearer 17%.
_Window: top 100 of 8,412 holders._
| Bucket | Raw | Excl. infrastructure |
| Top 10 | 61.2% | 17.4% |
| # | Account | Share | Type |
| 1 | `v2.ref-finance.near` | 32.1% | contract · DEX pool |
Good for
- Due diligence before you buy, list, or integrate a token
- Telling whale risk apart from liquidity sitting in pools
- A sourced concentration figure for a memo
Limits
NEAR only: supply from the contract over NEAR RPC, holders from NearBlocks. The count is exact; shares cover the holders retrieved (100 by default, deeper on request). Labels are heuristic; one entity across many addresses reads as several.
